It's great to meet you.

My clients would describe me as someone who is grounded and authentic in our sessions together. Therapy sessions can be weird, sad, funny, enraging, or comforting--sometimes all of these things at once and then some more. I do my best to make space for what my clients need on a given day, all while holding them empathetically accountable to their goals.

I received my master's degree in social work from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. My background in social work informs the work I do on a daily basis; I work to maintain an anti-oppressive, intersectional perspective that considers the many identities, communities, and systems that shape my clients' lived experiences. While I work with people of all identities, as a queer clinician, I am passionate about providing relevant, high-quality care to queer and trans clients. Since much of my clinical focus centers around my clients' experiences in their bodies, it is vital to me that I practice using the principles outlined by ASDAH in their Health at Every Size (HAES) Framework of Care.

I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, or EMDR, and utilize this modality alongside narrative therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy, or ACT. I often incorporate mindfulness exercises into sessions to support my clients in feeling grounded and present.

When I'm not working as a therapist, I'm an avid crocheter, artist, and amateur photographer. My free time is often spent on a hiking trail or camping trip with my dog, doing a crossword puzzle on the couch between my two cats, or dragging my loved ones to yet another thrift store.
